1. Who operates SRA?

Smart Ride Advisor is owned by Muhammad Waqas. It is an independent Android decision assistant for ride-hailing drivers in Pakistan and is not affiliated with inDrive.

2. Information handled by the Android app

SRA can handle account identifiers, sign-in details through authentication services, name, phone or email, city, working areas, vehicle details, fuel average, petrol price and preferred calculation settings.

Calculation records can include pickup and passenger trip distances, fares, effective rates, advice, the settings used and timestamps.

Device and service records can include device model, Android and app versions, login history, service sessions and manually selected activity phases.

If you separately enable the optional location feature and grant Android permission, location samples and derived activity or area information can be recorded during active sessions.

3. Why this information is used

These records support account access, saved preferences, ride calculations, calculation history, service activity and support. Authorized SRA administrators can access relevant records to operate and support the service. Any additional use in the released app must be disclosed before release.

4. Accessibility, screen capture and screenshots

With your permission, SRA reads relevant text exposed on ride screens through Android accessibility. Screen capture and OCR can identify ride values where supported, and screenshot checks process images you select.

Extracted fare and distance values may be saved in calculation history. SRA does not use this access to accept rides or enter offers for you. You can stop live reading or revoke its Android permissions. Accessibility use needs a separate in-app explanation and affirmative consent.

5. Service providers and data access

The Android project uses Google Firebase Authentication and Realtime Database and includes Firebase Analytics. Google services can process account, device and usage information according to the features and SDK configuration enabled in the app. Read Google’s Privacy Policy for information about Google services.

The final policy and Google Play Data safety declaration must reflect the Android version that is actually released. No claim that SRA collects no data is made.

6. Retention and deletion

Account, profile, settings, calculation and service activity records may remain stored until removed. Final retention periods, backup handling and any lawful retention exceptions have not yet been published.

The current app implementation marks raw location samples for expiry after 30 days and attempts cleanup during service operation. This does not guarantee deletion at an exact time; cleanup and retained summaries need release verification.

Account deletion must address the sign-in account and its associated data, subject to any clearly disclosed retention obligations. You can delete your account directly inside the Android application by following the Terms & Account Deletion Guide.

7. Security and your choices

Use Android Settings to control permissions and SRA’s controls to stop live reading. Do not share passwords or verification codes. Production access controls, secure data handling and the final retention/deletion process must be verified before release.

8. This website

The example calculator runs locally in your browser and does not submit its entries to SRA. This website has no payment or general message-submission forms. The account deletion page uses Firebase Authentication and Realtime Database to verify and delete SRA account data.
